MOAI MANTRA Stand anyway Join the list

Training that survives a real week.

Not a gym. Not a six-week transformation. A short set of principles for people with a job, kids, and about forty minutes β€” built by someone training in exactly those conditions.

Four principles

The part nobody sells you

Programs are easy to find. Staying in one through a bad month is the actual skill. These four are what it comes down to.

01

Remember the feeling

Some days everything says rest. You go anyway β€” not out of discipline, but because you remember what the other side of the session feels like, and you know the trap you're being talked into.

02

Sleep is part of the plan

Thirty minutes free and completely empty? Sleep. Twenty minutes of rest buys you a real session later and a father who's still present at dinner. Wasted time is what you spend pretending you're fine.

03

The restart is the whole skill

Long hours, illness, travel β€” the break isn't the problem. The restart is where people quit. Accept that one or two sessions will be dragged through, and it comes back on its own.

04

You are somebody's evidence

Four kids started asking to train because they watched someone do it on the days it wasn't fun. On an empty day, that's the engine β€” you're already proof of something to someone.

The mantra

Remember the feeling. Remember who you are.

Said out loud on the doorstep, before a 10 km that had every reason not to happen.

Who this is for

Working parents who still want to be athletes

  • You finish work tired and train anyway β€” or want to get back to it.
  • Your training window moves every day, so a rigid plan breaks by Wednesday.
  • You've restarted more than once and want the restart to stop costing so much.
  • You'd rather be strong and running at 50 than lean for one summer.
